Our client is a prominent and growing enterprise and there is now a need for the business to hire a driven finance professional as their Accounts Payable Manager. This role will lead a team to support their Singapore finance accounts payable functions.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing with relation to the Payables (Employee Claims & External Parties) section.
- Responsible for streamlining systems and processes to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness for the organisation
- Champion and lead automation within the Accountants Payable function using automation tools such as Robotic Process Automation, Workato, etc.
- Work with the SAP IT team to streamline processes and roll out automation within SAP.
- Support audit matters, manage banking relationships in relation to your area of work.
- Provide coaching and support to the accounts payable team
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 8-10 years of relevant accounts payable experience is preferred
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
- Solutions-oriented mindset and hands-on professional
- Strong background in process, systems, and automation
- Experience in RPA preferred
- Proficient in Google Suite and preferably knowledge of SAP application is preferred
