Job position: Finance Intern

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Finance Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of finance, including recurring tasks and ad hoc projects. The successful candidate will work closely with our finance team, contributing to the day-to-day financial operations of the organization while also participating in special projects that require critical thinking and problem-solving skills.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Recurring Financial Tasks:

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including budget vs. actual analysis.
  • Support the reconciliation of accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records (AP & AR).
  • Participate in the monthly close and the Multi Year Budget processes.

2. Ad Hoc Financial Projects:

  • Collaborate with team members on special financial projects, such as cost analysis, forecasting, and treasury modeling.
  • Assist in the implementation of new financial project management tools.

3. Data Management:

  • Collect, compile, and analyze financial data to support decision-making processes.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining financial documentation and process manuals.

4. Communication and Collaboration:

  • Work closely with operational teams to gather financial information and support collaborative initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and the management to share insights and findings from analyses.
  • Assist in preparing presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.

Duration: The internship is expected to last between 4 to 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
