- Support the introduction, further development, and operation of cloud platform (s)
- Assist and validate infrastructure and cloud compatibility and viability with original architecture and design.
- Work closely with System Integrators, and vendor organizations to architect end to end hybrid cloud solutions.
- Performing cloud services deployment, administration tasks including configuration, systems monitoring, troubleshooting, and support while innovating to automate as much as possible.
- Create & manage project plans.
- Define project schedules, allocate resources,and monitor progress.
- Align project objectives with stakeholder goals, and make sure the project team is clear on objectives.
- Lead process of issue identification and resolution.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Foster partnership with stakeholders/sponsors.
- Work closely with the delivery and operations teams to ensure smooth transition into operations for ongoing BAU management.
- Engaged in Cloud related technical discussion with application teams, third party vendors and cloud team.
- Provide ideas to continueimprovement the way the cloud team works.
- Co-ordinate the IT teams (including vendors) to prepare scope of work, and solution designs according to the expressed needs.
- Share timely communication and reporting with all concerned stakeholders and put in place a governance process.
- Be responsible for end-to-end coordination of each project phase, also being responsible for the project commitments in terms of costs, deliverables, risk management, change management, etc.
- Ensure all projects adhere to strict security standards, ensure proper documentation and compliance, and perform a smooth handover to operations teams post-deployment.
Job Requirements
- Tertiary education in Computer Science / Engineering or related discipline.
- At least 3 years’ experience in Cloud Solution (Public, Private or Hybrid) Delivery projects.
- Proven track record in managing cloud deployments and migration projects.
- Good knowledge of Cloud solutions and services (mainly Azure and Alibaba).
- Good knowledge of IT processes and tools used to support business activities.
- Capability to elaborate to non-IT users, ability to manage and follow-up project budget.
- Being autonomous, strong sense of service and responsibility, ability to well-organize and delegate accordingly.
- Possess good analytical and synthesis skills, quick on the feet thinking.
- Ability to communicate and convince, good written and verbal communication.
- Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS etc.)
- Have good knowledge in the following technical fields:
o Public Cloud such as Alibaba Cloud, Azure.
o Private Cloud such as VMware, Nutanix or equivalent.
o Information Security Management (firewall, IDS)
o Networking (ExpressRoute, Site-to-Site VPN, basic IP routing)
o System Management skills (Servers, SANS)
- Understanding of compute, storage, and data center networking technologies and emerging trends in cloud computing, storage and networking.
- Understanding micro segmentation and container will be an added advantage.
- Strong Project coordination and management skills.
- Possess excellent team management skills, customer engagement skills, negotiation skills and presentation skills.
