We are currently looking for a Regional Digital Investment Lead to spearhead our efforts to take our digital investments business to the next level. The candidate will work with relevant departments in the bank to put together a coherent message, articulating our vision for the future, as well as path to achieving the vision.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop Regional Strategy: Outline the future of digital investments for DBS regionally, how the strategy will be executed and clearly define business outcomes.
- Design Business Solutions: Design best-in-class digital investment products, in collaboration with regional stakeholders including product, technology and design.
- Embed Customer Experience: Ensure excellent customer experience is embedded in all digital solutions developed.
- Drive Adoption: Design relevant metrics and drive adoption
- Foster Collaboration: Co-create plans with relevant teams, build consensus with teams from controls, technology, country/regional and establish mutual wins.
Responsibilities
- Translate business strategy into executable business plan with clear milestones and roadmap of capabilities to be built.
- Communicate business plan to senior management to obtain buy-ins.
- Execute business plan, track results and introduce corrective actions plans where results are not forthcoming.
- Conceptualise roadmap initiatives by focusing on customer “jobs to be done”, customer feedback, industry trends, internal feedback and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with technology, design, product owners, compliance teams to deliver outcomes.
- Initiate pulse check on customer feedback to uncover digital friction points and “jobs to be done”.
- Conceptualise and implement initiatives to drive uplift in digital metrics such as adoption of digital wealth management features, digital revenue, non-digital revenue initiated through digital channels.
- Drive internal adoption of digital capabilities amongst front office staff.
Requirements
Functional Experience
- Past experience in managing digital investments as a business.
- Deep understanding of investment products including Equities, FX, Bonds, Structured Products and Unit Trusts.
- Experience in working cross-functionally and across regions.
- Highly adaptable, self-starter, able to deal with ambiguity, thrives in fast-moving and high-growth environments, bias towards action.
- Strong communication skills, able to speak tech and business when needed.
- Familiarity with banking, financial services, payments, and platform businesses.
Technical Experience
- Comfortable with Design Thinking, IT development and delivery
- Skilled in data analysis and translating into business outcomes.
Communication
- Proficient and effective at developing and delivering presentations.
