- IFRS 17 client projects and remediation
- Client finance and actuarial transformation including the software implementations and managed service arrangements.
- Mergers, Acquisition and Market Entry
- Steering IFRS 17 support managed service
- One-off IFRS 17 Captive set-up including technical accounting papers, policies and processes.
How this opportunity is different
The role will provide support to the Head of Finance Consulting STG APAC in relation to leading and developing the origination, sale and delivery of finance consulting services to new and existing Insurance clients in APAC. Services will be provided in cooperation with the Actuarial STG APAC team and will report to the Head of Finance Consulting STG APAC. The role will assist in the hiring, training and management of STG junior actuarial staff in ASEAN and the wider APAC region.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Candidates should be educated to degree level and be a qualified accountants with at least 10 years of experience. Similar degrees or qualifications will be considered
- Prior experience in a consulting role with a big four accounting firm.
- Prior experience should include leading workstreams of multi-million USD finance and actuarial transformation engagements.
- Prior experience of selling consulting services.
