About the Client
Our client is one of the reputed MNC firms in Singapore
Responsibilities
- To undertake application support for securities business / equities systems in the bank.
- Provide/review solutions on end-to-end approach to system integration across multiple platforms/applications.
- Develop program & scripts and batch jobs running and monitoring, as well as recover the batch job if there is any job failure
- Perform daily health check to ensure the system is running as per schedule
- Understand the job dependencies and recover the job if there is any job failure. Be able to define and implement job automation.
- Work closely with product vendors to analyse change request, review system design, ensure compliance to technology architecture standards, software defect resolution and system deployment.
Skills/Requirement
Must have Skills:
- At least 5 years Backoffice Application Support Experience on Local/Foreign Exchanges for Equity markets.
- Strong knowledge of Financial Markets products, such as equities, and Order Management Flows.
- Hands-on experience in application support with experience in system setup, environments, system fine tuning.
- Possess good knowledge on System and able to support back-office applications and interfaces
- Technical knowledge in UNIX (preferably Solaris), UNIX shell scripting, Windows Server, Oracle database, SQL, Java, XML, Python.
- Experience in DevOps tools Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Ansible, CI/CD are good advantages.
- Knowledge on 3 tier architecture, middleware system ie JBoss Platform, MQ, Control M are good advantages.
