Key Responsibilities
Management responsibility:
- Devise, develop and deliver a comprehensive strategic & tactical plan for business development, marketing and marketing communication.
- Research into relationships that should be developed and manage effective partnerships with existing schools.
- Meet potential new schools by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network.
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop SSEC’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
- Forecast enrolment targets and ensure that they are met by the team.
- Stay appropriately networked and keep abreast of trends, news, events so that all possible, new or enhanced opportunities are exploited.
Business Development
- Liaise and effectively engage with schools (local and international) and agents for direct student recruitment drives and marketing activities.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and issues affecting the educational industry to help the school stay ahead of the competition. Gather market intelligence on competitors.
Marketing
- Plan and execute relations and concepts that are aligned to the Business Development Plan.
- Relationship positioning within the Chinese educational setting
Requirements
- At least 10 years of relevant working experience in the education industry.
- Good verbal and written communications skills.
- Good relationship management skills with internal / external stake holders
- Able to make constant trips to and fro Singapore and China
