The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for the successful execution of relevant HR initiatives and action plans, in addition to overseeing and managing day-to-day HR processes including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits administration, LOA’s, workplace safety- workers comp, onboarding, offboarding, staffing, training and development, performance mgt, employee relations, executive/manager HR advisor, reporting, policy and procedure, understand statutory compliance and labor laws, small tactical projects, familiar with HRIS systems- Oracle or others, analytics, data entry, etc., etc.
The role will be the point person to lead and advise in matters relating to human resources, employment law, industry practices, and workplace rights, and will report to the Senior Human Resources Manager based in our US corporate headquarters.
The role requires experience as a people supervisor/manager and is sufficiently experienced and capable to work independently outside of direct headquarters supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee general and Human Resources and Staffing functions in APAC- including Singapore, Korea, India, Japan, China and Taiwan.
- Provide expertise and knowledge in statutory and industry practices/standards and labor laws.
- Demonstrate experience in all employee life cycle phases, including recruiting and staffing, onboarding, training and development, performance management, benefits and compensation, LOA administration employee relations, HRIS administration, HR data analytics, succession planning and offboarding.
- Participate in the development and implementation of international policies and procedures.
- Provide support to the group compliance audit and its related activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a Business Discipline
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a Human Resources Manager
- Experience supporting Employee Relations at multiple Company sites in APAC
- Excellent knowledge of HR laws and regulations, labor law and compliance in all APAC countries
- Experience supporting HR infrastructure, programs, and processes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Mandarin language skills
- Experience working in the technology industry/multinational organization preferred
