You will support the Group Director in delivering a robust innovation system in SingHealth by developing and implementing new innovation programmes and initiatives. You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, as well as secure leadership buy-in for new programmes and policies. You will also create best-practice guidelines for innovators and innovation teams within the cluster on the negotiation of innovation-related agreements to better manage potential roadblocks and pitfalls that could hinder progress of innovation projects.
You will identify and scan for new technology opportunities that could enhance cluster innovation and transformation, work with partners on its implementation and adoption within SingHealth and guide the division personnel in the process of scientific publications (including developing research objectives and study design, data analysis and drafting of manuscripts). You will also ensure that learnings from Division of Innovation & Transformation’s work can be documented and disseminated to the wider scientific and healthcare community.
You will implement and oversee partnership programmes with other organisations and entities for innovation, including identifying new strategic partners and collaborating with the various leads of innovation in the global health programme, division offices, and other stakeholders to develop and implement curriculum for the innovation in global health programme. You will also assist the Group Director in overseeing division functions such as risk management and training.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 12 years’ experience (preferably in innovation-related work, and with healthcare experience).
- Knowledge and expertise in process improvement, improvement methodologies and tools & techniques, such as Design thinking, Lean and Six-sigma, would be an advantage.
- Knowledge and expertise in benchmarking and data research, statistical tools and techniques would be an added advantage.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Adaptability at handling complex, fluid and challenging situations and comfortable with change in a fluid environment and a growing organization.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, with limited supervision.
- Action-oriented, highly motivated and target-focused to deliver effectively in a timely manner.
