We are looking for an experienced Catering Manager who will oversee and coordinate all aspects of our catering operations.
Responsibilities
- Gather customer catering requirements and preferences
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Plan food and beverage menus considering clients’ preferences and special requests
- Determine requirements in ingredients and set portions
- Recruit, train, and supervise catering staff to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Oversee on-site staff during events to maintain high service standards.
- Oversee food prep and customer service
- Manage stock and place orders as needed
- Develop and manage budgets for catering events, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Degree in any field
- Min. 3 years of experience in catering or event management
- Strong communication, good interpersonal and management skills
- Willing to work on weekends and public holidays
