LOVE, NILS runs Art Therapy sessions to relieve isolation and provide a safe and inclusive environment for children with cancer and their families to express their feelings.
We are seeking a full time licenced Art Therapist to join us to deliver both individual and group Art Therapy Sessions as part of LOVE, NILS Supportive Therapy Programs.
Responsibilities
Deliver art sessions at our partner hospitals and community-based sessions under our Art Therapy Program
- Maintain consistent and safe workspace practices when delivering the art sessions
- Plan and curate monthly thematic art kit activities for our home-based beneficiaries
- Responsible for planning and procurement of art supplies for the Art
Therapy programmes
- Conduct one-on-one online and in-person group art workshops
- Maintain Personal Data Privacy requirements
- Collect programme impact data, including outputs, testimonials and surveys for data impact analysis and programme evaluation
Requirements Skills and Competencies:

Hard Skills
- Visual Art
- A degree in Art Therapy from local or overseas educational institution
- Relevant work experience as an Art Therapist, full-time or contract

- Excellent and effective communications skills with strong interpersonal and good presentation skills when working with groups and individuals.

As this role requires the Art Therapist to enter the hospital wards, the candidate will need to show proof of Vaccination records as per Hospital guidelines. They include vaccinations for mumps, measles, rubella, pertussis and chicken pox.
