The Swiss School in Singapore (SSiS) is a bilingual school (German-English and French-English) officially recognized by the Swiss Confederation. Around 240 children (between the age of two and twelve) are currently attending the SSIS. SSIS is embedded in the tropical landscape of Singapore, away from busy roads and designed as a learning oasis. SSiS is looking for a dedicated and experienced IT Engineer to primarily support the school in the area of the Microsoft 365 platform. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our Microsoft 365 environment, other school management software, as well as IT devices and systems used in the school, to ensure smooth and efficient IT operations.
Your Responsibilities:
· Management of the Microsoft 365 platform, including Office applications, Teams, and SharePoint for staff.
· Efficient license and user management, including the setup and management of user accounts and access rights.
· Provision of IT support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
· Management and maintenance of IT devices such as computers, tablets, interactive whiteboards, and other technical teaching aids.
· Monitoring of network and system infrastructure.
· Planning and execution of IT projects in collaboration with other departments.
· Monitoring, development, and implementation of IT security policies and procedures.
· Support in the implementation and training of new technologies and software for teachers and students.
· Monitoring compliance with data protection and compliance regulations, specifically in the educational sector.
· Coordination and collaboration on IT matters with the school management, internal school departments, as well as service providers and partners of the school.
Your Profile:
· Bachelor’s degree in information technology. computer science, or related field.
· At least 2 years of professional experience in managing Microsoft 365 and end-user devices in Intune.
· Experience in setting up and managing cloud services in Azure.
· Strong problem-solving skills and experience in IT support.
· Knowledge of network and system administration.
· Experience in IT project management.
· Excellent communication skills in English, German and/or French.
· Ability to work as part of a team with a high level of self-initiative.
