Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we govern the Bank's operational EOS management and FOSS Intellectual Property Rights and reduce DBS's risk exposure.
Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering sessions to understand business problems and understand how the proposed system enhancements will address these problems while assessing impact to existing functionality and business processes.
- Working alongside business team to establish business needs and convert them into technical requirements. Guide the Development Team on building the required solution.
- Spearhead various mapping sessions for EOS and FOSS Governance on various UI, Interfaces, Data Migration tracks.
- Be part of a scrum team and participate in daily stand-ups, lead grooming sessions, author user stories, attend sprint planning sessions, provide feedback in retrospectives.
- Be engaged throughout the whole project life cycle, from Inception through post-production Transition.
- Candidates should be self-starters, able to multi-task, and be comfortable working with technical and business teams and should always demonstrate DBS PRIDE Values.
- Demonstrate team work ethic and dynamic attitude through effective interaction with all people involved in the programme across Business, Operations and Technology Teams.
Requirements
- 4-10 years of experience in Tech Business Analyst role for business process & technology change within financial institutions.
- Domain knowledge and work experience on EOS Governance and FOSS Governance will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in Agile methodologies.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and process/system architecture/data structure design skills.
- Strong in using Decision support tools and Excel and gather metrics for decision making.
- Able to translate user requirements and analysis into technical requirements, and solution to meet objectives.
- A self-starter and learner who takes the initiative to challenge the status quo.
- Detail oriented and able to join the dots for bigger picture.
- Good written and verbal communication skill, able to present and facilitate meetings & workshop.
