Reporting to Managing Director, this position will play a key role in driving our sales and marketing strategies focusing on technical solutions for our products in the global market.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Research & Development team in Headquarter and counterparts from other countries to develop and execute strategic application/market growth plans through thorough understanding of customers’ needs in various markets outside Japan
- Manage provision of technical services to customers and business partners effectively for commercialization of polyolefin, polyethylene and other chemical products
- Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting technical issues and managing market/customers’ new development needs
- Collaborate with sales team to organize technical education/seminars to business partners and customers to enhance brand knowledge and market expansion
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering/Polymer Science with 8 to 14 years relevant working experience
- In-depth knowledge in polymer and packaging industry related to m-LLDPE/HDPE/PP
- Proficient in Japanese language to liaise with counterparts from HQ in Japan
- Highly self-motivated, meticulous, independent and resourceful
- Strong leadership and communication skills and an effective team player
- Effective customer orientation
- Able to travel within short notice when required
