Precontract Requirement:
• To be able to calculate the cost of construction for projects tendering based on tender drawings and documents, including sourcing of suppliers and subcontractors where necessary.
After Project Award
• Prepare the bill of quantity from the post tender structural steel drawing
• Coordinate with Design & Detailing team to get the MTO & check with the manual bill of quantity and place the raw structural steel material order.
• Prepare the Master List & update the Project progress regularly with coordinating with Project Team.
• Prepare Weekly & monthly project progress report.
• If any variation work found, raise the quotation against this variation & submit to client.
• Monthly Project Progress claim preparation & submission
• Meeting the Client QS regularly at site & get the progress certification on timely manner.
• Subcontract works Progress claim Follow up & Certification.
• Supplier Payment Follow up & certification.
• Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
Other Mandatory Requirements:
• Experience in Pre & Post tender
• At least 5 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in structural steel and miscellaneous metals
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal skills.
• Strong computer skills, including AutoCAD, MS Office
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Must work in construction site.
• Highly motivated, self-driven with initiatives to work independently
• Able to work for extended hours as per project requirements.
