Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of Volvo After-Sales Bus Workshop.
- Monitor warranty campaigns and service bus workshop team at various bus depots.
- Ensure all returned-to-depot buses are repaired safely with minimum downtime and good quality workmanship.
- Point-of-contact with Volvo technical team to reduce downtime for buses & troubleshooting work.
- Manage all campaigns to ensure completion on time.
- Daily compilation of field visit reports and systematic documentation & collection of warranty used parts from bus workshop & bus depots.
- Responsible for P&L reporting, annual budgeting, planning and KPI tracking
- Prepare returned-to-depot buses daily and monthly reports
- Increase sales revenue by new business growth & profitable service contracts with external fleets
- Prepare quotations and sales invoices for customers
- Drive workshop business operations, materials and overall costs reductions
- Lead improvement works of workshop or special projects assigned
- Perform 6S and housekeeping of bus workshop & depots
- Ensure bus workshop & depot staff discipline and safety compliance.
- Uphold the work culture that promotes good work attitude and teamwork, and conduct regular performance review with staff to ensure company's objectives are met.
- Meeting with both external and internal stakeholders on workshop matters.
Requirements
- Recognized degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent with 5 years of relevant working experience
- Good leadership, high integrity and interpersonal communication skills
- Data-integrity with analytical and problem solving skills
- Warranty and campaign administration experience
- Process-driven with good business acumen
- Able to work in a dynamic, lean organization and delight customers with Volvo service quality
- Strong written and presentation skills
- Team player, results oriented and self-driven
