Position Overview
It’s an exciting and transformative time to join talenTtrust as we gear up for a period of growth. To facilitate this, we are creating a new role for a Fundraising Manager. Reporting to the CEO, you will drive revenue generation through fundraising activities, corporate partnerships, and events. You will have a clean slate to develop creative revenue generating strategies that align to our mission, and build relationships with purposeful corporates.
You may be a seasoned fundraiser looking for a greenfield opportunity, or someone with solid fundraising / business development experience under their belt who is looking to step up. Either way, we are seeking a true people person with an entrepreneurial spirit and a results oriented mindset to join our small, ambitious team.
Responsibilities
- Lead on the development of revenue channels from a range of partners and institutions including corporate and private foundations, government grants and individual donors.
- Develop and implement compelling fundraising strategies and activities such as events, individual giving and digital campaigns.
- Work with the CEO to develop strategies to identify and source suitable partners, develop inspirational pitches that attract collaboration, and convert leads into long-term sustainable partnerships.
- Build and nurture relationships with existing donors, partners, and supporters through the use of regular and appropriate touchpoints and communication channels (newsletters, reports, etc.).
- Ensure a suitable fundraising infrastructure is established and maintained, including donor database and management system.
- Support the work of the fundraising committee and provide reports / updates as needed.
- Evaluate performance and impact of fundraising strategies and events to identify and progress opportunities for improvement.
- Develop relevant content for marketing and communications.
Qualifications
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree such as business, marketing, communications etc.
- 4--5 years demonstrated success in broad fundraising, events and corporate partnerships (or business development), with a track record of achieving revenue targets.
- Outstanding relationship management skills with a successful track record building and nurturing strong partnerships, whether that be with donors or corporate partners.
- Creative, entrepreneurial mindset with ability to think outside the box in relation to revenue growth strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong planning, organisational and time management skills, takes pride in a high standard of delivery.
- Results orientated, self-motivated individual who enjoys working in an external facing role.
It would be advantageous in this position to for you to be able to demonstrate the following capabilities:
- Knowledge of Singapore's nonprofit / CSR sector
