MINDS has been caring for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (PWIDs) and their families since 1962.

MINDS is today one of the largest charities in Singapore employing more than 850 staff. RESPONSIBILITIES
The Programme Executive contributes actively to the programme needs of Befriending and Respite services under the umbrella of Community-Based Support Services (CSS). He/she will be involved in the planning, coordinating, and executing of programme events and activities that suit the needs of persons with intellectual and developmental needs and their families. CSS is the dynamic and nimble service delivery arm in MINDS that response to emerging needs of PWIDs and Caregivers in the community. Examples of Befriending and Respite programmes include Me Too! Club, MYG, Project Bubbles, Befriending Services, and Customised Respite Care. The key vision is to reach out to the unserved and underserved, and to enhance integration and community living of caregivers and PWIDs in the community.
A proactive thinker, resourceful and responsible team player, he/she works closely with colleagues across MINDS to plan each programme and to guide volunteers/vendors in a smooth delivery of programme activities. He/she will also connect and coordinate with other organisations to execute collaborative, inclusive and client-centric programmes, to manage communications and feedback from stakeholders, and to conduct outreach activities to other organisations and the community.
1. Programme and Event Coordination
- Conduct programmes based on client needs
- Conduct needs assessment to support development of programmes based on client needs
- Provide programme updates to supervisor
- Identify areas of improvements in programmes
- Implement quality control and compliance procedures
- Maintain daily records on progress of clients
- Develop information materials for distribution to clients and volunteers
2.Resource Management
- Take stock of programme resources (hardware and software) and provide updates to supervisor
- Source, guide and coordinate volunteers/vendors in executing assigned events and/or activities
- Co-creation of learning materials with social enterprises for clients usage
- Purchase of assistive technology to support clients in their home settings
3. Stakeholder Relations
- Coordinate with internal and external agencies for the execution of assigned events and/or activities
- Pair befrienders to clients and ensure that befrienders are well supported
- Manage communications and feedback from stakeholders
- Support outreach activities to targeted client group/s, other organisations and the community
- Support the development of community outreach plan with the Community Based Support Services team
- Min Diploma with 1- 2 years working experience
- Social Service sector / programme management experience will be an advantage
- Relevant Digital Literacy Skills and Certificates
- Hands on with strong communication and good interpersonal skills and the ability to influence.
- Have Strong Interest and Open Attitude towards understanding Persons with Intellectual Disability and their needs.
