User Acceptance Tester (UAT) is responsible for ensuring that software or technology meets the requirements and expectations of its end users. Their job is to test software applications, websites, or other technology systems to ensure that they are working as intended and that they meet the needs of the users who will be utilizing them.
- To ensure that software or technology systems meet the requirements and expectations of end-users. UAT Tester is also responsible for identifying and reporting any issues or defects.
- Developing test cases and scenarios based on user requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Conducting testing on the system to ensure that it is functioning properly and meeting user needs.
- Identifying and reporting defects or issues found during testing.
- Collaborating with development teams to ensure that defects are fixed and requirements are met.
- Providing feedback to product owners and other stakeholders regarding the user experience and any issues that were identified during testing.
- Documenting test results and providing reports to stakeholders.
- The UAT tester should ensure that the software meets the functional and non-functional requirements of the users, including usability, performance, security, compatibility, and accessibility.
- The UAT tester should also identify any defects or issues and report them to the development team for correction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Should also possess good communication skills and be able to effectively convey any issues or defects found during testing.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
