Accountabilities & Tasks:
- Lead the collective charge in elevating our global IT security posture, partnering with talented teams both at HQ and in our diverse subsidiaries.
- Act as the bridge builder between headquarters' IT Planning Group and our subsidiaries, empowering them through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Coach and mentor team members towards service excellence, performance optimization, and strategic resource management.
- Plan, coordinate and facilitate end-to-end IT project management, from support and maintenance to seamless system upgrades, ensuring open communication and alignment across teams.
- Develop meticulous IT plans and budgets, working closely with stakeholders to ensure cost-effective solutions that meet critical business needs.
- Enforce a robust change control culture within the project life cycle, proactively mitigating risks through collective brainstorming and shared decision-making.
- Keep all stakeholders informed with timely reports on project progress, identifying potential hurdles and implementing solutions that pave the way for success through collaborative problem-solving.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure operations (network, system, security) with Global or Regional exposure and experience.
- A proven track record of successful project management (mid- to large-scale).
- Budget planning, cost forecasting, and critical path expertise.
- A keen eye for designing and implementing secure, high-availability IT solutions.
- Familiarity with medium/large-scale server and network administration.
- Strong communication skills in Japanese language (Both written and verbal) are essential for effective collaboration / communication with counterparts from headquarters in Japan.
