On behalf of one of its clients, the French Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Capital markets sales manager.
The hiring company is a fintech startup in the space of capital markets. It leverages research in market micro structure to improve the liquidity and visibility of small companies listed in exchanges.
The Capital Markets Sales Manager will be responsible for leading sales, market analysis, and network development while ensuring team building.
Main responsibilities :
- Sales Leadership:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and market penetration in the sector.
- Cultivate and expand relationships with key stakeholders, including listed companies, financial institutions, and other relevant entities.
- Lead the sales process, from prospecting and client acquisition to negotiation and closing deals in Singapore.
- Market Analysis :
- Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes in the capital markets landscape.
- Provide regular market insights and feedback to the leadership team to enhance our product and service offerings.
- Network Development:
- Leverage existing industry contacts and establish new connections to build a robust network in the capital markets community.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance our visibility and reputation.
- Team Building:
As the first hire in Singapore, lay the foundation for a successful sales team by recruiting, training, and mentoring new team members as sales operations expand.
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales trading, corporate banking sales, or a related field within the capital markets sector with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Deep knowledge of capital markets, trading, and regulatory frameworks, with a focus on Singapore and Hong Kong markets. Ideally with a master's degree in Business or Finance.
• Established network in the capital markets community in Singapore and Hong Kong.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
