Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive cutover plan detailing all migration activities.
- Coordinate with different teams to ensure alignment with project timelines.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- RAID Management for smooth project deliveries.
- Track project progress with automated (Jira, Confluence) and semi-automated (Excel, PPT) statistics
- Proactively address issues that may impact the cutover process.
- Maintain clear communication channels between technical teams, stakeholders, and project managers.
- Provide regular updates on cutover progress to relevant parties.
- Oversee testing activities related to cutover processes.
- Ensure that all necessary validations are performed before, during, and after the migration.
- Develop contingency plans for potential issues during the migration.
- Quickly respond to and resolve any unexpected problems that may arise.
- Document all cutover procedures and activities for future reference.
- Create a detailed post-implementation report highlighting lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Engage with various stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations.
- Build relationships with key project contributors.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing large-scale IT projects.
- Expertise with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and application architecture.
- Experience with migration tools and technologies.
- Prior experience managing technical cutover activities in a similar scale migration.
- Strong experience in managing projects from remote location.
- Experience in Telco domain is preferred
- Certifications – Scrum Master, PMP
