We have an immediate vacancy for a suitably qualified individual to join our IT Team as a Java Developer.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to:
• Develop Java/J2EE web applications.
• Develop scripts to automate conversion in PDF, EXCEL, CSV, TXT into the required standardized format.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party.
• Participate in end-to-end projects for system implementation.
• Maintain documentation of functional, technical specifications and other technical documents.
• Conduct End User training.
Requirements
• Minimum a degree in IT, with at least 1 full SDLC implementation
• Minimum of 3- 5 Years experiences Java (Core & Enterprise), Java Application Servers (Tomcat & WebLogic) and .NET
• Experience in implementing web services such as SOAP and RESTful web services.
• Experience in frontend frameworks such as Angular, Struts, jQuery and Bootstrap.
• Experience with MSSQL, Oracle and other relational databases.
• Core knowledge on Spring Framework, Hibernate/Entity, HTML, CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, and AI Builder is an added advantage.
• Technical skills in AS400/ RPG400/ RPGILE and CL400 would be advantageous.
• Banking Application Software experience, such as Equation or EXIMBills is a plus.
