JOB DESCRIPTION

With a rapidly growing array of sales teams, it's important to have knowledgeable, charismatic leaders to guide our client sales teams. As a Sales manager, you'll lead and coach high-performing account teams that use consultative sales skills to understand our advertisers' needs and deliver measurable solutions that grow their businesses. You will also work with the sales leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business. Sales managers willingly help their teams and roll up their sleeves to partner directly with clients to provide comprehensive service. You are an excellent communicator with a proven ability to train and motivate a large team, and you take an analytical approach to sales management.

The International Growth Team (IGT) is a global team of International Growth Consultants & Global Business Solution Consultants helping Google advertisers of all sizes from across APAC, EMEA & AMER to internationalize their business. We're a diverse multinational, multilingual team spread across cities in every region. Our mission is to 'Help our Customers and Google realize the full potential of International Growth across Google Ads Products'.


Qualifications

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Foster a culture of coaching and mentoring, empowering the team to excel in sales, consultancy, and account management. Guide the team's professional growth, fostering new approaches to unlock international opportunities.
  • Lead the development and execution of the International Growth strategy, ensuring alignment with sales goals and regional initiatives with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and identify high-value opportunities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders, unlocking transformational international growth opportunities for Google's advertisers by enabling our agency partners.
  • Partner with leadership to ensure program agility and continuous adaptation to evolving customer needs, addressing challenges like logistics uncertainties and economic slowdowns. Maintain focus on commercial viability, identifying and securing opportunities for Google and clients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of people management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in international business operations and/or tech sales/marketing, with a proven track record of success.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated expertise in China export business with fluency in Mandarin to speak with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams across diverse geographic locations and markets
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate market nuances and solve multifaceted problems
  • Ability to drive results by influencing C-level decision-making internally across Google and externally.
