The Field or Engineer provides support to the Lead Discipline / Lead Project Engineer / Project Engineering Manager in achieving effective management and delivery of engineering tasks. A large proportion of this work will be offshore on the construction vessel.
The Engineering Manager should have the following:
· Be involved in business analysis planning & monitoring.
· Decision making ability in a fast-paced environment.
· Work closely with Engineering Director, Project Managers, Senior Engineers from planning, design, and implementation to release stage.
· Provide leadership required to build top class quality features and products.
· Adhere to project controls systems (i.e., document control, cost control and schedule) throughout the project.
· Provide leadership required to build top class quality features.
· Manage a team of up to 10 and be responsible for their performance.
· Provide support to Discipline Manager in achieving effective management and delivery of engineering tasks.
· Mentor, guide or train junior/graduate engineers.
