Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily setup and breakdown of the kitchen area.
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service and communication.
- Learn and assist in other areas of the kitchen, including food preparation for other menu items, as directed by the Cafe Lead.
- Contribute to menu ideas and participate in kitchen inventory management.
Requirements
- Passion for food and a keen interest in learning culinary skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Prior experience in a kitchen or food service setting is a plus but not necessary.
