Job Description:
- Evaluate market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to synchronize merchandising efforts with promotional campaigns.
- Maintain product item attribute categorization.
- Perform weekly analysis of product sell-through and compile monthly data reports.
- Provide merchandising support and collaborate cross-functionally on key projects.
- Take charge of sales performance, pricing, inventory management, purchasing, allocation, grouping, and markdowns.
- Coordinate launch plans and liaise with the Logistics Department for smooth delivery.
- Work with the Visual Merchandising team to develop in-store display guidelines.
- Offer leadership and mentorship to the merchandising team.
- Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Present concise weekly action plans to the Department Head.
Job Requirements:
- Hold a Diploma/Degree in Business, Retail Management, Statistics, or Business Analytics.
- Possess 2-3 years of experience in Merchandising, Retail Buying, or related fields.
- Demonstrate understanding of Merchandising processes and strong Product knowledge.
- Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines.
- Proficient in Excel with strong analytical skills.
- Collaborative team player with effective cross-functional relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
