The Job:
You will be handling the overall management of several sites within a particular attraction or tourist area. You set the direction and pace at which the team operates. You analyze the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities of your sites through sales targets, marketing initiatives and people planning. You develop and train your leaders and provide train-the-trainer support on an ongoing basis. The successful incumbent of this role is an entrepreneurial thinker and has a high drive to exceed expectations.
What you will do:
- Maintain operations by initiating, coordinating and collaboration on programs and policies
- Lead Site Managers and/or Team Leaders on effective productivity practices to achieve top and bottom-line targets
- Motivate and drive the team to deliver results and maximize their potential
- Guide training initiatives such as cash handling, inventory management, camera setting and salesmanship
- Maintain strong relations with Attraction Business Partners, addressing any issues or concerns
- Report on the business using reporting and existing systems
- Recommend pricing by reviewing sales activities; determining additional needed sales promotions and studying trends
- Coordinate and organize the team’s schedules
- Manage the performance of the sites through evaluations, performance and talent management
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum of at least 4 years of experience in retail / sales.
- Great Knowledge in excel, good understanding of numbers and reporting requirements
- Professional level of communication
- Leadership skills and experience of at least 2 to 4 years
- Great Enthusiasm and passionate with people
- Have a positive, can "do" attitude and think creatively
- Be willing to lead by example in both sales and basic photo capture
- Must be flexible in working schedule, required to work on weekends and public holiday
- Comfortable working in outdoor environment and long standing hours
