Job Description
- Checking/ evaluating the implementation of quality standards, inspection and testing in line with company and project requirements.
- Ensuring the development of project specific plans, procedures, and forms by the QA/QC team and overseeing the implementation at project level.
- Qualify new PQR and prepare WPS when required
- Reviewing the implementation of the project quality plan already established along with the associated procedures in coordination with the project management team.
- Ensuring all required Inspection & Test plans are produced, reviewed and implemented.
- Ensuring all required method statements and associated risk assessments are produced, reviewed and implemented.
- Ensuring all required material submittals are processed and approved prior to being used at site.
- Ensuring all testing of raw material as well as for final product are conducted as per approved ITPs and as per the frequency stated in the project specifications.
- Coordinating and following up with third party lab to provide the test reports needed for ensuring quality of works is met.
- Managing the inspection process as required by the project plans by developing and establishing standards and methods for inspections, testing procedures and reporting their implementation effectiveness.
- Controlling of all non-conformance reports received from consultant and managing their closure thru close coordination with construction manager and site team.
- Supporting and advising the project team on all QA/QC related issues.
- Communicating all audit results and recommendations performed by the main contractor as well as the consultant, and ensuring that action plans are defined, implemented and verified.
- Reporting on all areas of responsibility to the project management team as well as the QA/QC corporate manager.
- Performing other duties as requireD
Requirements
- Min 15 years experince in Marine and Oil & Gas field
- Well versed in AWS D1.1 and ASME Sec IX - Mandatory
- Knoweldge in Internal codes and standards (AWS,ASME,API,ASTM,ISO,BS EN, DIN, DNV,ABS Etc)
- Min Degree in Engineering
