Job Description
- Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturing/Semi-conductor
- Position Title: Field Service Engineer
- Working Location: Depending on allocated project
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30 am – 5 pm
- Salary Package: Up to $3000 + $500 Transportation Allowance + OT + Standby Allowance + VB
- Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- To install, service, support, upgrade and maintain equipment.
- Perform a variety of moderate to complex assignments, such as diagnosing equipment problems and making repairs or adjustments.
- To understand system parameters and interactions to allow process development and extension electronic-mechanical troubleshooting on the equipment.
- To support the team in meeting customers’ expectations and company’s expectations.
- To provide direct support on machines at customers’ fab.
- To write technical report.
- To handle specific jigs during service jobs.
- Assist senior colleagues in performing higher-level jobs such as robot teaching & sub-units.
- To perform ad-hoc delivery work.

- Minimum NITEC in Electronics/Electrical/Microelectronics Engineering, or related
- Cleanroom working experience will be highly advantageous.
- Experience in machine set-up/installation/modification/servicing/troubleshooting/repair.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Comfortable with standing by/working after working hours.
- Comfortable with travelling occasionally.
