Job Description
- Conceptualize and develop innovative mechanical designs for new products, ensuring functionality, reliability, and adherence to industry standards.
- Perform detailed design and analysis of mechanical components and systems, creating comprehensive drawings and documentation.
- Identify, evaluate, and source new materials, components, and parts for use in product design, considering cost, quality, and availability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing teams, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components into overall product design.
- Oversee and coordinate pilot runs to validate the manufacturability and functionality of designed components, making necessary adjustments for optimization.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in mechanical related issued of ODM/OEM product
- Experience in product design
- Proficient in 3D modelling
- Knowledge in AutoCAD, solid works, CAD
- Good knowledge & understanding of manufacturing process such as machinery, metal casting, plastic injection, extrusion
- Good knowledge in product design and metrology
- Good knowledge & understanding of GD&T for 2D drawings
