Job Description:
As a Programme Executive at Duck Learning, you will play a pivotal role in managing and developing our flagship programs, including the FIRST LEGO League and the Global Robotics Games. This multifaceted role requires a combination of strategic planning, project management, marketing, and partnership development skills. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of both programs, from conception to implementation, with a focus on expanding their reach and impact globally.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of FIRST LEGO League (FLL):
- Oversee all aspects of the FLL program, including organization, promotion, marketing, administration, and adherence to competition rules.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth operation of FLL events and competitions.
- Provide support and guidance to participating teams and mentors.
Development of Global Robotics Games:
- Lead the development and execution of the Global Robotics Games, a flagship program of Duck Learning.
- Manage the production of the games each year, including game design, logistics, and scheduling.
- Collaborate with international partners to implement the games in various countries, ensuring consistency and quality across different regions.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with sponsors and partners to secure funding and support for the Global Robotics Games.
Event Organization:
- Plan and organize the finals of the Global Robotics Games in Singapore, overseeing all logistical arrangements, venue selection, and participant coordination.
- Ensure a seamless and memorable experience for participants, sponsors, and attendees.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop strategic plans for the continuous improvement and expansion of both the FLL and Global Robotics Games programs.
- Identify new opportunities for growth and innovation within the robotics education space.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and curriculum development, to align program objectives and messaging.
- Communicate regularly with external stakeholders, including participants, sponsors, partners, and volunteers, to ensure alignment and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree / Polytechnic Diploma
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in program management, event planning, or related fields, preferably in the education or technology sector.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Passion for STEAM education and robotics, with a deep understanding of the educational landscape and trends.
- Proven track record of successful partnership development and fundraising.
- Experience in international program management or event organization is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
