Job Title: Vice President, Product Management
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy:
- Provide visionary leadership for the product management team.
- Develop and communicate a clear product strategy aligned with the overall company goals in EduTech domain.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define the product roadmap and ensure alignment with EduTech business objectives
Team Management:
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing product management team.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
Product Development:
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from ideation to launch.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure successful product releases.
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on market needs and business priorities.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay informed about Training industry trends, customer needs, and competitive products.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for new products or improvements to existing ones.
- Analyze data and customer feedback to make informed decisions about product direction.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the product management budget.
- Monitor and analyze key financial metrics related to product performance.
- Make data-driven decisions to optimize product profitability and growth.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate product strategies and updates to internal stakeholders, including executives, board members, and other teams.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and challenges in product development and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business, engineering, etc.); MBA or advanced degree is often preferred.
Experience:
- Extensive experience in product management, with a proven track record of successful product launches.
- Previous leadership experience, preferably at a director or senior management level.
- Experience in Education domain and Training industry.
