Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy Development: Collaborate with the senior management team to improve and standardise go-to-market strategies and map out marketing campaigns aligned to company goals and objectives. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, target audiences, and competitive landscape.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute marketing campaigns with the team to launch new products, promote seasonal offers, and drive sales. Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed to achieve objectives.
- Brand Management: Ensure the consistent representation of the company's brand across all marketing materials, including website content, social media, advertising campaigns, and promotional materials.
- Digital Marketing: Work closely with marketing team and brand agency to oversee and implement digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media campaigns, and online advertising, to drive website traffic and lead generation.
- Content Creation: Coordinate and guide product team to create relevant marketing content and manage the distribution of content that resonates with the target audience, supports SEO efforts, and establishes the company as an industry thought leader.
- Trade Shows & Scientific network: Coordinate and participate in industry-specific trade shows, conferences, and events to showcase the company's offerings, build relationships, and gather market intelligence. Lead efforts in building the scientific advisory committee of the group.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources to achieve maximum ROI.
- Team Management & Collaboration: Lead, motivate, and mentor the marketing team, ensuring they are well-equipped to execute marketing plans efficiently, while working closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, and Product Development, to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives and drive sales growth.
- Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing campaigns and use data-driven insights to improve future strategies.
- Compliance: Ensure all marketing activities adhere to relevant industry regulations and legal requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in marketing management, preferably within a distribution industry. Sales experience and revenue management is a plus.
- Strong understanding of distribution processes and the ability to tailor marketing strategies to cater to B2B and B2C customers.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other departments.
