Job Description:


  • Identify key Customer Groups in the lighting industry ecosystem in particular Contractors & End-users and related project coordinates: lighting designers, architects, ID & M&E consultants.
  • Drive growth of TRILUX products & solutions in the assigned market verticals across target customer groups.
  • Take full ownership of the TRILUX portfolio and collaborate with the TRILUX team to continue go-to-market activities in market segments of industrial, pharma, education, office, commercial & infrastructure segment.
  • Drive the TRILUX partnership by leveraging the Sonepar-TRILUX USPs and market position as multi-specialist lighting solution provider.
  • Develop and establish relations with high value stakeholders via customer-centric and solution-centric principles in key B2G & B2B projects.
  • Build a strong pipeline of high potential lighting projects that focusses on identified sub-market verticals – pharmaceuticals, semi-conductors, data centres and warehouses.
  • Negotiate and close projects by striking a good balance between sales revenue and sales margin keeping in my mind short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Meet assigned revenue and margin KPIs by leveraging the provided tools, market intel and solutions.
  • Work closely with project related specifiers by providing full technical support on product selection, lighting design, Lighting Power Density calculations, and Green Mark recommendations.
  • Analyse competition and market and provide feedback to internal stakeholders to continuously evaluate and shape go-to-market strategies.
  • Conduct product and solution presentations to decision-makers by focussing on sustainability, productivity and efficiency.
  • Provide strong feedback to TRILUX on product solutions and relevant right to win for the brand to further strengthen Sonepar & TRILUX market position.
  • Understand Sonepar’s business unit propositions in other areas and collaborate effectively to showcase the Sonepar Difference to the market.
  • Show proactive participation in learning and development especially on new technologies such as smart lighting, IoT, Industry 4.0 to further define Sonepar’s value proposition to the market.
  • Challenge status quo and incumbents by educating customers on the latest in lighting technology.
  • Take full ownership of costing and price negotiation with customers keeping commercial guidelines in mind.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to create a fun work environment that promotes trust, learning and performance.


Requirements:


  • Degree in Engineering or Related studies with 5-7 years’ proven sales and business development experience in the Lighting Industry.
  • Deep understanding of brand selling principles and building go to market activities that primarily focus on solution quality, product quality and brand building.
  • Strong relationship with End-Users and contractor segment in Singapore with a good understanding of Lighting Designers, M&E Consultants and Architects segment.
  • Experience working with renowned international lighting brands that focus on solution-selling.
  • Deep understanding of lighting industry in Singapore– latest trends, products, solutions. ASEAN knowledge will be a plus.
  • Hunter-like personality who is not afraid of developing new markets and new customers.
  • Highly customer-centric mindset and problem-solving mindset.
  • Class 3 driving license with own vehicle can be an added advantage
