The Company
Our client (headquarted in Europe) is a global digital agency that support their MNC clients worldwide to grow their brands and expand their businesses through the adoption of newest technologies. They are looking for an experienced Accountant to join the team to support the growing business in APAC region.
The Role
This role reports to the Finance Head in Singapore office. You shall be handling the day-to-day accounting transactions and month end close of the business which include AR (invoices, aging report and receipts), AP (commission payments, staff expenses and PO preparation) and GL (audit schedules, expenses analysis and intercompany reconciliations) functions.
You shall support project revenue and cost tracking, gross margin monitoring, ad-hoc project analysis and as well as monthly reconciliation of project revenue and cost with the operation stakeholders.
In addition, you are to handle and support quarterly GST and tax computation at year end, liaising with auditors, corporate secretary, bankers and tax agents for statutory compliance matters. During the budget and forecast period, you shall support in the expenses analysis and revenue forecast based on project accounting.
Your Profile
This role suits someone who is experienced in working in a MNC set up with full sets of account exposure. Minimum 5-7 years of relevant work experience with prior audit background is advantageous. You shall be a degree holder in finance/accounting or business related discipline. Strong team player and confident in liaising with different stakeholders. Auditors with advertisting portfolios and project accounting background are welcome to apply for this role.
