Our Client
Our client is the integrated agribusiness and food company. It is one of Asia’s largest privately owned agribusinesses with production facilities across eight countries in Asia. Its parent company is publicly listed on one of the stock exchanges in SEA.
The Role
This new headcount was transferred from Corporate HQ to Singapore office. Reporting to AVP, Finance, you are responsible for maintaining the General Ledgers (GL) and reporting activities for selected entities.
Responsibilities:
- Review and approval all vendor payments.
- Perform daily and weekly cash management and bank reconciliations.
- Responsible for the monthly closing activities, including providing analysis of the financial results.
- Prepare month-end balance sheet schedules and reconciliations.
- Prepare quarterly and monthly reports for corporate reporting.
- Review and update established accounting policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all transactions are recorded in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards.
- Prepare Quarter GST submission and annual Corporate Tax filing.
- Handle the Annual Statutory Audit and Internal Audit requirements.
Your Profile
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Finance or professional qualification certificate (i.e. ACCA).
- Minimum of 3 years experience in handling full sets of account or GL function and statutory reporting.
- Hands-on with accounting transactions and month end close activities such as performing reconciliation.
- Meticulousness and attention to details.
- Immediate starter or candidate with short notice period is highly preferred.
