As part of the Group Treasury team, you will support various business units in treasury settlement, loan administration, bank account administration (including electronic banking) as well as the day-to-day operations and recording of treasury related entries.
Responsibilities
- Handle Fixed Deposits/Bank Loans/FX & Derivatives/Bonds and other Banking Facilities including preparation and verification of all supporting documents and ensure all payments are timely settled
- Monitor inter-companies’ loans, deposits and fund requests, and ensure timely settlement of all their payments and receipts
- Liaise with Finance Business Partners and provide support to the business units in their day-to-day operations by executing their funding requests
- Liaise with Finance Business Partners to comply with the loan covenants and to fulfil the reporting obligations to their Financing Banks / Lenders
- Ensure all treasury related transactions are settled and updated promptly in the Treasury Management System
- Ensure that treasury settlement activities are performed in accordance to defined Finance / Treasury SOPs, governance framework, and local accounting standards
- Handle opening and closure of bank accounts and maintenance of the master bank account list
- Handle the application/termination/activation and maintenance of e-banking services and master e-banking list
- Assist in obtaining wet-ink signatures for Bank Mandate & E-Banking documents, including tracking of the documents and to follow up acknowledgement/status from the Banks
- Support Team lead to constantly seek ways of improving workflow process and support robotic process automation implementation to drive operational and cost efficiencies
- Assist with data entry and update of various Masterfile / database with high accuracy
- Provide support to the Treasury Department and perform ad-hoc tasks/ assignments as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- At least 3 to 6 years of experience in operational support for Treasury function, preferably in large corporates, MNCs or shared services environment
- Strong numerical and analytical skill with attention to detail and accuracy
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications and SAP Treasury
- Proficiency in written and spoken Mandarin (able to review documents in Mandarin and communicate with China offices) will be an advantage
