About the Department and Position Purpose:

We are actively seeking a Senior Manager / Assistant Director to join our transformative journey. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders across the cluster/department. Your primary responsibility will be to plan, coordinate, and monitor project deliverables, ensuring timely success. Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide Ongoing Support for the NGEMR System Post Go-Live:

  • Collaborate closely with requestors to ensure comprehensive information is provided for Change Requests (CRs), with a focus on clear articulation of business requirements, justifications, and impacts.
  • Prepare submissions for approvals, estimating high-level resources, costs, and schedules for effective budgeting and management decision-making.
  • Prioritize and categorize CRs in collaboration with requestors, PMO, and MI, submitting them for approval.
  • Track and monitor the progress status of all CRs, providing support and updates to requestors as needed.

2. Project Management:

  • Work with PMO to develop and streamline CR processes.
  • Provide advisory support to drive departmental initiatives, including new services.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure funding and appropriate resources are budgeted and included in work plans.

3. IT - Project Management:

  • Coordinate with workstream and project leads to report and document project status for various projects.
  • Collaborate closely with support workstream (e.g., BME and vendors) and project leads to manage interdependencies, clear roadblocks, and balance competing demands.
  • Develop and maintain project dashboards to ensure objectives and timelines are met.

4. IT Budgeting:

  • Work with Department IT SPOCs or representatives to plan and ensure timely submission of department IT budgets.
  • Monitor and track the utilization of department IT budgets.
  • Support ad-hoc IT budget requests raised by departments and assist in CRs.

5. Cluster Managed Systems (CMS):

  • Ensure compliance of the overall security posture of the CMS system with prevailing IT security policies and standards.
  • Manage and track system/device risks and any deviations, taking appropriate mitigation action.
  • Drive compliance with various stakeholders to achieve compliance through audits.

6. User Access Management & Governance:

  • Lead the team to work with relevant stakeholders to establish, maintain, and ensure compliance with data.
  • Lead the team in establishing, reviewing, and auditing user access policies and procedures.
  • Lead and conduct audits as required (routine/ad hoc).

7. Provide Support to CMIO:

  • Support ad-hoc requests/initiatives raised by CMIO.

8. Support Any Other Duties/Tasks/Projects as Assigned by Reporting Officer.


Key Requirements:

  • Degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum of 15 years of working experience.
  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry, business analysis, project coordination, communications, or change management is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to drive strategy, design, and implementation to deployment.
  • Strong project management capabilities with experience in leading cohesive teams in a cross-team environment.
  • Confidence to engage with senior management leadership, both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities and the capacity to work effectively under tight timelines.
  • Solid analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
