Responsibilities:
Customer Service & Admin
- Create quotes for internal and external customers.
- Recommend pricing for clients to ensure profitability
- Receive orders from customers and ensure customer requests are met.
- Analyse the pricing and profitability of each client
- Understand pricing for logistics services and quote to clients accordingly
- Liaise with transport providers to book transport as requested by clients
- Process proof of delivery and send copies to customers
- General administration and managing the office and maintain contracts for internal and external
- Commercial mindset and perform analytics to ensure the overall business is profitable
Billing
- Support other departments and personnel in billing processes and assist audit teams in verifying bills and billing data
- Maintain registration, batching and coding for billings.
- Detect errors in billing processes and make appropriate corrections.
- Implement quality billing practices and procedure
- Supervise and manage all billing processes.
- Resolve complex billing issues and verify and assess all bills before processing.
- Initiate and implement innovative logistics in billing functions.
- Assess purchase orders and vendor payments.
- Process all billing transactions
- Issue billing adjustments and process past due invoices and failed billing
- Work with the compliance department on all DOI inquires
- Interface with internal customer service on customer inquiries
- Report process flow issues to Billing Supervisor
Requirements
- Diploma in Business, Accounting or equivalent
- Experience in customer service in logistics contract
- Experience in sales support or billing task in logistics contract
- Proficient skill in Excel, Power BI, Tableau
- Experience in using Cargowise a plus
