The High Performance Executive functions as a support personnel to the Head Coach and General Manager with matter relating to High Performance. The individual will be involved in both day-to-day and strategic matters pertaining to the national squash teams.
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage High Performance calendar, in alignment with SSRA events calendar.
- In collaboration with the Coaching team, manage all tournament and high performance related files, and ensure they are kept up-to-date.
- Manage spexScholarship documentation, including agreements and virements.
- Facilitate spexCarding application and all SportSync matters.
- Monitor and manage High Performance related activities and programmes’ budgets.
- Manage stakeholder relations and align high performance goals with coaches and partners (eg. Sport Singapore, academy and school coaches).
- Facilitate administrative requirements (ANGE) or procurement of competition and travel requirements, including but not limited to flights, accommodation, visas and registrations.
- Procure facilities, services, collaterals and equipment related to High Performance in accordance with the SSRA guidelines; ensure timely and accurate delivery of purchased goods and services.
TEAM MANAGER AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
The individual may be required to travel with the National Team to events and competitions overseas. In the event he/she is called upon, the following applies:
- Arrange with host on ground requirements such as airport pickup and training facilities.
- Attend Team Manager meetings and act on items as required.
- Assist coaches on administrative matters on the ground.
- Updating the Secretariat and Board on results and incidences in a timely manner.
- Assist Secretariat with marketing and social media requirements such as photos and collaterals when required.
- When required, support the national and major events and programmes.
- When required, assist General Manager and Secretariat with administrative matters.

Skills, Qualifications and Personal Traits
- Degree in Sports Management, Physical Education or related discipline is preferred. Diploma holders are welcome to apply.
- Preferred two years (min. one) of relevant experience in the sports industry (eg. National Sports Associations or recreation/school clubs).
- Experience in working with NSA, Sport Singapore and familiarity with SportSync will be an advantage.
- It is important that the individual has a strong and active interest in sports.
- A self-starter who also enjoys working in a team, and manage deadlines well.
- Computer literate in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); social media familiarity will be an added advantage.
- Generally pleasant character who enjoys communicating and working with people.
Please note that due to the nature of the industry, individuals may be required to work on weekends and evenings. In light of this, there needs to be some flexibility in working hours and where applicable, individuals will be compensated with time off in-lieu.
