Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Software Engineer to design, implement, and test system software supporting various platforms. You'll play a crucial role in developing core services for driver teams, ensuring compatibility with diverse operating systems, and addressing complex software and computing challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and test system software for digital and analog instruments.
- Develop core services used by driver teams, ensuring compatibility with 32-bit and 64-bit applications.
- Analyze software requirements, create functional specifications, and implement code using C#, C++, .Net, and COM/ATL.
- Debug and resolve complex software and computing issues.
- Interface with multiple organizations on a daily basis.
Basic Qualifications & Skills:·
- 2-5 years of general software development experience.
- Project work involving software applications controlling hardware products.
- Proficiency in C#, C++, and Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of VB.
- Familiarity with UML design and Rational Products is a plus.
- Ability to understand and debug complex systems.
- Experience in Agile, C/I, JIRA is a plus.
- Prior ATE experience, hardware knowledge, and familiarity with computing hardware are advantageous.
