Our client is an award-winning International Main Contractor with a strong track record in large infrastructure projects globally. They have recently been awarded a large MRT project and are seeking a Construction Manager to lead.
Job Description:
- Oversee construction projects from conception to completion,
- Manage and review the work progress on a daily basis
- Be accountable for the safety and quality of the works as per project policies
- To plan, develop and organise the construction and implement the most cost-effective plan to meet completion deadlines within budget
- Propose organization to suit project objective
- Responsible for implementation of the scope of work related to construction project
- Report to Project Manager of project details, including safety, quality, progress, risks and opportunities in a timely manner
- Monitor construction productivity, schedule performance, investigate performance and implement actions to improve performance
- Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
- Manage Main contract requirement
- Manage subcontractors within their contracts
- Analyse, manage and mitigate risks
- Participate in cost review and forecast for construction activities
Requirements:
- Min 10 years of construction management project experience including tunnelling & MRT projects in Singapore
- Demonstrate strong technical skills and ability to lead civil & infrastructure design and construction team
