HSSE Lead, Southeast Asia
What this job involves:
HSSE Strategy Leadership
- Ensure the integration of HSSE goals into the overall business strategy for the southeast Geo.
- Drive continuous improvement in safety and sustainability practices to meet organizational ambitions.
Stakeholder Engagement and Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior Geo stakeholders from Work Dynamics to garner support for HSSE initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with various functions within JLL, including Sales, Operations, HR, Legal, Finance, and others.
- Foster a culture of safety by providing leadership and communication to achieve regulatory compliance.
Team Development and Coaching
- Lead and develop the region HSSE professionals, promoting knowledge growth within the team.
- Provide clear structure and defined progression for the HSSE team.
- Coach and educate the organization on HSSE matters at all levels.
Business Growth Support
- Represent JLL HSSE in regional business development pursuits to support the growth of the organization.
- Engage with key regional client relationships to ensure their HSSE needs and expectations are met.
- Global HSSE Program Implementation- Implement global HSSE initiatives and align with JLL's corporate HSSE strategy within the geographic region business.
- Oversee operational execution in the Regional region to minimize HSSE risks, injuries, and environmental impacts.
- Ensure the adoption and integration of HSSE technology across the Geo for consistent delivery systems.
HSSE Compliance and Standards
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of operational controls, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and JLL's HSSE aspirations.
- Drive the development of best practice HSSE training programs and resources.
- Monitor regional legal requirements and ensure JLL meets HSSE statutory responsibilities and best practices.
Risk Management and Assurance
- Implement JLL's global HSSE assurance program to demonstrate compliance with HSSE standards.
- Identify and manage HSSE risks effectively, including the development of mitigation strategies.
- Monitor key performance indicators and strategic indicators to assess HSSE performance.
- Communication and Reporting- Provide performance reporting to the Head of APAC HSSE, Region Head of Operations, and Regional region Work Dynamics Leadership Team.
- Promote HSSE successes across the Geo JLL business lines and in wider industry forums.
To apply you need to be / have:
The Candidate
Experience
- A minimum 10 years HSSE management experience within Operational Management systems and working with corporate clients.
- A strong understanding of the HSE regulatory environment for APAC countries.
- Appropriate recognized Professional HSSE qualifications and memberships
- Management system implementation and auditing experience;
- Practical working knowledge of up-to-date tools and techniques within a real estate environment
- Excellent communication skills to appropriately coach and educate at site level of the account.
