about the role
- Overseeing and establishing standardized practices for the utilization of AWS IAM.
- Ensuring the configuration and effective use of key AWS components such as S3, ELB, X-Ray, etc.
- Developing playbooks for daily maintenance and inspections of the utilized SaaS services, guiding fellow engineers in the operational nuances.
- Streamlining daily repetitive tasks and enhancing system maintenance efficiency by implementing diverse automation solutions.
- Orchestrating task splitting, scheduling, coordination, communication, and driving the progress of assigned projects.
skills and requirements needed
- Minimally Diploma/ Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
- Minimally 2 years of working experience as an DevOps Engineer in an AWS environment.
- Certifications in AWS / DevOps is beneficial.
- Proficiency in AWS IAM permissions management system and configuration syntax, with practical experience in designing applications using AWS IAM permissions.
- Knowledgeable about everyday applications of AWS S3, including permissions control, access policies, and lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with various AWS ELB products, possessing a clear understanding of Load Balancer characteristics, and adept at configuring and maintaining them.
- Knowledgable in working principles of X-Ray, capable of implementing group monitoring capabilities for SaaS through the X-Ray Group function.
- Proficient in the Python language with scripting skills.
- Familiarity with the CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Release) process and practical application experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin (both oral and written) to effectively engage with stakeholders internationally.
