The Company is a fast growing education services firm serving high net-worth individual families from China. The Company is expanding aggressively these few years, and is seeking a investment professional to take charge of the Company's planning, fundraising and investment strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute fundraising strategies and plans;
- Researching investment opportunities;
- Creating an investment strategy that matches the company’s strategic goals;
- Identifying financial risks and devising plans for mitigating them;
- Recommending investments and providing detailed explanations of why they’ll benefit the company;
- Reviewing the existing portfolio and identifying strengths and weaknesses;
- Compiling and presenting regular reports on investment performance;
- Staying up to date on market forecasts and trends
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent decision-making skills to select the right investments;
- Demonstrated analytical skills to interpret complex financial data;
- Oral and written communication skills to conduct meetings, give presentations and write reports
- Strong research skills to explore new investments
- Extensive knowledge of finance and the markets
- Ability to use accounting, spreadsheet and investing software programs
Requirements:
- Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese;
- Minimum of 12 years experience, of which at least 5 years in managing a company's fundraising and investment functions;
- Degree from world class institutions, MBA preferred;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and organisational skills
- Highly motivated, good working attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
- Experience in working in a multilingual and Chinese environment.
