Job Responsibilities:
- Inform the community of the duration of the Project including regular updates on progress status, and feedback contact numbers and names of officers in charge etc;
- Inform the community in advance of the schedule of activities that may cause potential nuisance, including noisy activities such as piling, concreting, demolition/hacking, use of explosives, and measures that will be taken to mitigate such potential nuisance;
- Arrange regular meetings with the community to address nuisance such as noise and dust pollution and other environmental related problems that may arise from the construction. Such activities shall be subjecty to the approval of the SO and the Employer;
- Build rapport with neighbouring institutions such as schools, nursing homes, neighbourhood police and resident committees, etc;
- Attend to and manage feedback from the community, including maintaining a log of the feedback cases and follow-up actoins taken, carrying out the necessary investigation, re-directing the feedback to other parties if the feedback is not pertaining to the Project, and ensuring that all feedback cases are resolved and closed in a timely and properly manner.
Requirements:
- Diploma with at least 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in public outreach programme, including PR matters, stakeholder engagement and management/ coordination of public events related to the project
- Fluent in English and fully capable of communicating effectively with the community including residents, occupiers of the surrounding sites and general public and conveying their feedback to the contractor's project team and senior management
