• Provide on-site quality surveillance for process piping and gas lines distribution system installations to ensure compliance with project specifications throughout the installation process
• Ensure welding works are performed with correct and approved welding procedure specifications and by qualified welders
• Perform quality inspection, testing, and certification for process piping and gas distribution systems, and document the results
• Report quality problems or findings to the installation contractor for corrective action.
• Provide progress updates of inspection and testing to the project manager per a pre-defined frequency
• Ensure adequate safety precautions and housekeeping are implemented while performing quality control tasks at all times.
• Participate in root cause analysis led by customer or main contractor to resolve repeated occurrences of quality problems or continuous improvement program
• Operate and maintain technology-driven inspection instruments following the original equipment manufacturer’s user manual
• Maintain close interface with installation contractors on progress updates to allow early planning testing activity for schedule optimization
