Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Check and Control activities on site
• Coordinate with other disciplines, subcontractor, client and consultant to review design and construction risks
• Coordinate with internal departments like Design, M&E, Archi to troubleshoot the issues
• Lead and guide the site engineers and supervisors on construction activities
• Manage subcontractors and ensure the works are executed in accordance with approved method statement, safety procedures and quality system
• Provide regular (monthly) updates on the appropriate risk control measures implemented to eliminate or reduce identified risks
• Obtain approval from Reporting Supervisor / Project Manager / Senior Project Manager for the implementation of risk control measures
• Ensure the Risk Register is prepared and maintained in accordance with Code of Practice
• Responsible for conducting Risk Assessments within the defined scope
3. Other ad-hoc jobs assigned by the department head.
Requirements :
1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
2. Engineering Degree with minimum 10 years in design and construction
3. Bizsafe Level 2/3 or other relevant qualifications in safety will be an advantage
4. Well-versed in Hazard Identification and Risk Management Methodology
5. Preferably Managers specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent
