As a Senior Assistant Manager, Academic, you will play an important role in ensuring the seamless execution of postgraduate programs at NTU. You will be tasked to produce proposals, working closely with admissions, and follow up with collaborations with partner universities. You will take direction and support the Deputy Director and contribute directly to maintaining the university's academic excellence and ensuring the university remains at the forefront of academic innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the review and approval process for new postgraduate programs, ensuring alignment with academic standards, market demand, and resource availability.
- Act as a liaison between the department and Schools, fostering clear communication, addressing concerns, and providing guidance on non-curricular changes and proposals.
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement within postgraduate administration.
- Collaborate with internal teams and partner universities to streamline workflows and enhance overall efficiency.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree in a relevant field from an accredited university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in postgraduate administration; managing program proposals and approvals.
- Exceptional analytical and evaluative skills; assess program viability, market demand, and resource requirements; ensure informed decision-making in postgraduate program management.
- Familiarity with higher education policies and accreditation requirements; broader understanding of the regulatory landscape in which postgraduate programs operate.
- While not mandatory, a certification in project management would be advantageous, effective organizational and project management skills in handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
